Meet our Counsellor
Samantha worked in the banking and telecommunication industries for over 25 years where she developed a passion for face to face customer service. Samantha discovered she had a heart for people in extra need, those clients who needed help coping with day to day life and for those who had lost loved ones through tragedy or the natural course of life. Since then Samantha has completed studies to become a qualified professional counsellor and continues to study to keep in touch with the latest developments including regular courses with the Mental Health Academy
Samantha strongly believes a healthy mind leads to a healthy body and that there is great value in the therapeutic relationship between a counsellor and their client.
Samantha uses evidence based and solution focused methods to help you achieve positive outcomes.
Samantha will work together with you to find an approach that works just for you. Samantha is very happy to see you face to face or via video link across the internet or by phone. These options may suit those who are geographically challenged or time poor, who can’t get time off work or find a baby sitter or if you just can’t leave the house. These alternatives provide access to counselling and help when you need it the most and from the comfort of your own home or office.
Samantha is married with children and has personal experience in some of life's big struggles. Samantha has helped many others in their personal challenges and she would be very happy to hear from you whatever age or stage in life you are.
Samantha is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Mental Health Academy (MHA).
